Our Story

Thomas Victorin, the founder of Active Controls attended the Florida Institute of Technology a private university studying electrical engineering after serving in the US Army where he began his career in electronics. Thomas has had 31+ years of experience in electrical engineering working for several companies including Harris Semiconductor, Intersil, Siemens, Dometic and ICM Controls where he was the National Sales Manager. 

Active Controls LLC is an innovative custom controls manufacturing company but also has a distributorship agreements with Bluetti and Altitude Water. We are  based in Pompano Beach, Florida and began production early March of 2022 after a year of designing our first product the ActiveStart SoftStarter. 

At Active Controls we aim to help our clients achieve the most efficient and easy way to access power in ways they could not before! Our products are plug & play, making it easy to use and travel with! We strive to meet customer expectations by using years of experience in the industry as both a consumer and supplier! We are engaging and want to solve your problem! We are not looking for the short term gains but rather a long term investment in people and relationships with our customers. As an engineering company we want to be creative and innovative by using our experiences to raise the bar in solving real world problems.
